Where: Regis University, 3333 Regis Boulevard, Denver, in the new Clarke Hall building, room 136-137 (aka Board Room).
Directions and parking: Parking is open. You’re assured of a parking space when using Lot 6, directly off of Regis Boulevard (50th Avenue). Clarke Hall is a quick, 5 minute walk and will be the first (and only) 4 story building on your right. There is also a shuttle bus running every 15 minutes from all parking lots. This month’s professional development activity will feature faculty perspectives on the use of audio in online coursework. Dr. Cheryl Kruschke, Associate Professor at the Loretto Heights School of Nursing, will present on her use of VoiceThread for narrated discussions. Next, Dr. Tim Noteboom, Professor, and Dr. Heidi Eigsti, Associate Professor, School of Physical Therapy, will present preliminary results from their survey of student perceptions of narrated presentations. And Dr. Ken Sagendorf, Director for the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, will provide perspective.
