Raj is an exceptional team player and eLearning Technologist Support Person. Continuous improvement is Raj’s motto with all aspects of his job. Raj is the Quality Matters Reviewer for ACC and has a Masters in Instructional Design.

Raj can do it all—fully online, hybrid and face to face. He provides support to faculty, students and staff and develops tutorials and conducts workshops. Additionally, he manages the eLearning webpage. Raj is a problem-solver and has displayed strong analytical qualities. He has helped to develop the ACC Web-IT Accessibility plan and the implementation of the plan.

He has created a process for documentation of videos that need captioning and has worked on getting the content for the accessibility guidelines. Working with the team, Raj developed an efficient tracking and training process for eLearning’s Web-IT implementation goal. He has also designed and published a UDL webpage as an additional resource for instructors.

Within ACC, Raj has been instrumental in helping instructors be successful with the design and implementation of online courses. Outside of ACC, Raj has shared his processes for documentation of videos that need captioning with those schools in CCCS that have wanted to see this. Raj has also presented at The Higher Ground Conference.

He continues to be an active member of the Diversity Taskforce on the ACC Campus and is also a member of the Strategic Direction Assessment Committee. He has been instrumental in the eLearning department’s partnership with the Law Enforcement Academy to convert their existing tests to an online testing format. This has helped the LEA department collect significant user data and increased efficiency of test administration. He has also presented at department meetings and new instructor orientations to promote the quality of online instruction at ACC. Raj designed a competency course for designers using D2L.

Most importantly, faculty and staff can count on Raj to be patient and help them understand the effective use of technology and assists everyone with a professional and caring attitude.
